APRIL 2011

RELAY FOR LIFE
We participated in the annual Relay For Life event. Staying up all night with your sisters and raising money for a wonderful cause is always a great time!

ELEUSINIA
Beta Lambda visited Depaul University in honor of Founders Day. We met up with other chapters and went on a "cupcake crawl" throughout the city. It was great meeting other Chi Omegas- especially over cupcakes!

INITIATION
Congratulations to our 14 outstanding new initiates! Our newest members bring a whole new light to Beta Lambda. An extra congrats to our model initiate- Kenzie Gustaffson '14.

EASTER EGG HUNT
We held the annual TKE & Chi Omega Easter Egg Hunt and it was by far a success. We hosted over 150 kids, more than we've ever had before! Egg hunting, chalk, games & bubbles were among the fun activities we had planned for the local kids. A thank you to community service chair Kathleen McCall for bringing it all together!

ZUMBA CLASS
Our panhellenic counsel planned a zumba class open to all sororities on campus. It was a ton of fun working out with our sisters and other greek friends!

ANNOUNCEMENTS
We are greatly missing our sisters Christine Frisch '12 and Lauren Schoepke '12 who are studying abroad in Spain. We can't wait for your return home!

UPCOMING EVENTS
Parents Brunch will be held Saturday May 7th. Mark your calenders! Email Hilary Masterton at hmasterton@carthage.edu for any questions.

Do you know a fellow family member or alum that would like to be on the CHI-O list serve? Send their email address to tbeltran@carthage.edu!
