SLEIGH RIDE
A special thanks to our Sisterhood Chair Margot Parrish for organizing a holiday sleigh ride event at Apple Holler. The event included a festive dinner, bonfire and sleigh ride under the stars. It was a great way to kick off the holiday season with our sisters.

XO HOLIDAY WISHES VIDEO
Katelyn Schafernak '10 visited the chapter to film some of the girls spreading holiday cheer around campus as a recruitment tool for spring. MAKE-A-WISH VARIETY SHOW
Singers, Comedians, Musicians and more came to share their talents and help raise money for our annual Make-A-Wish Variety Show. A special thanks to our Community Service chair Kathleen McCall for sponsoring the event.

BETA LAMBDA REUNION
The chapter and local alumni reunited over dinner and drinks at Bull & Bear in Kenosha. A special thanks to all the alumni who attended and to our Career and Personal Development chair Coty Tatge for hosting the event.

INITIATION
Congratulations to our 10 newly initiated members! As one of the largest fall pledge classes in recent years, Beta Lambda is very happy to have you.

SLATING

THANKSGIVING DINNER
Special thanks to our Sisterhood Chair Margot Parish for hosting the annual Thanksgiving dinner! After a long day of slating, it's a tradition we all love to celebrate... food, festivities and our sisters.

ALCOHOL AWARENESS SPEAKER TO CAMPUS
Our chapter hosted alcohol awareness speaker Mark Sterner for a campus-wide event. Special thanks to Personnel Chair Iggy Lopez for organizing the event.

HOMECOMING WEEK
Beta Lambda is proud to announce that we received 1st place in this years Homecoming activities raising $1,500 for the chapter. We participated in all of this years activities including the Amazing Race, The Carthage Quizbowl, Torchie's Super Speedway, Deck the doors and the Homecoming Parade. A special thanks to our Campus Activities Chair Spencer Best for making Homecoming such a success.


HOMECOMING POTLUCK
A thank you to all the alumni who joined us for the Homecoming Potluck!


GREEK WEEK
We wore our letters proudly on campus all week & participated in activities such as the Greek BBQ and Swimming Relay Race Competition.


CHI-O DAYS
From goofy owl statues to hand-me down sweaters, Chi-O days spoiled the new members with all things XΩ. The tradition lives on, each day representing a new theme. C day brought Chi-O crafts, clocks, candies, cookies and other C treats. H day brought old hand-me down apparel back to life. I day brought insignia and new Chi-Omega flavored gear. O day brought owls, and lots of them. Hoot Hoot!


REVELATION
At the end of the week, the new members were surprised with a big sister at revelation. As a result, family photos were taken and big-little relationships were made. Congratulations to all the new big sisters- Margot Parrish, Sahar Ali, Kelsey Frey, Kathleen McCall, Alyssa Skowronski, Lissette Andrade, Christine Frisch, Kenzie Gustafsson, Diane Hahn and Lauren Jensen!

OWL-O-WEEN
We threw our annual halloween dance, a favorite function of many. Costumes varied from boy scouts to UFC fighters. Mario and Luigi were even there! A special thanks to our Social Chair, Kate Allen for hosting the function.

ORGANIZATION FAIR
We kicked off the year together at the organization fair. Handing out flyers, showing off our XO gear and looking classy as ever.

FALL RECRUITMENT
We held our annual Fall Recruitment Party, "Chi Omega Candyland" in search of some new hooters. The party was a colorful array of Chi Omega do-dads and friendly faces.
A special thanks to our Recruitment Chair, Senior Ally Schwartzhoff for making Fall Recruitment such a success.

10 NEW MEMBERS

We had a great turnout this Fall and recruited 10 amazing new girls! Welcome home- Amanda Martines, Sofia Giorno, Grace Heal, Shannon Weakley, Larissa Vosejpka, Natalie Haines, Emily Park, Courtney Hansen, Tori Bogren and Gowtami Rajendran! We are very excited to have you and can't wait to see you prosper in Chi Omega.


BID DAY
This years Fall Bid Day was very "Chi Omega Couture" to put it best. Special thanks to New Member Educator, Junior Bri O'donnell for her hard work in welcoming the new babies.

HOMECOMING
Calling all alumni! Calling all alumni! It's that time of year again. Homecoming festivities will take place on Sept. 30, Oct 1, and Oct 2. We encourage you to come out to cheer for our float in the parade and grab lunch at our annual Chi Omega potluck! The potluck welcomes current members, families and alumni to join us in the Todd Wehr Center, rooms 128 B and C for lunch, following the parade. Please RSVP to our Campus Activities Chair, Spencer Best at sbest@carthage.edu to confirm your attendance. We look forward to seeing you!

MAKE A WISH VARIETY SHOW
We are throwing our annual Make-A-Wish Variety show on October 27th from 9-11 p.m. in the TWC Jockeys. Admission is $1 and all proceeds go to the Make-A-Wish foundation. Additional donations are accepted. We would greatly appreciate if our family, friends and alumni came to support us and the philanthropy. FORMAL
A special thanks to Social Chair Kate Allen for throwing an amazing formal function! This years theme was masquerade. Our sisters came adorned in masks of all kinds and had a blast.

PARENTS BRUNCH
We invited our families to join us for a garden themed brunch as we showed them all of the wonderful things about our sisterhood! This included speeches from each of the classes, superlative awards and a video made by Amanda Croix. A thank you to our Vice President Hilary Masterton for making the brunch such a success.

DUNK TANK
We held our annual Make-A-Wish Dunk Tank on Campus Drive with the TKE's. Its always fun raising money for a great cause, having a good time with your sisters and getting dunked in the dunk tank!

SENIOR FAREWELL
As tradition follows, we sent our seniors off with farewell wishes from all of the little sisters. In return, the seniors willed down many owls, insignia and tons of apparel to the current actives.

GRADUATION
Congratulations to our senior class of 2011... Kylie Gustafsson, Kristen Lemar, Bianca Landi, Katelyn Schafernak, Casey Arvin, Ashura Jenkins, Amanda Croix, Jessica Layden, KT Gast, Emily Nolen, Tiffany Gould, Lindsey Waller, Reiko Arimura, Dayna Corey, Sam Retek and Lauren Bianchi! You girls are amazing and will do great things. We will miss you so very much.

RELAY FOR LIFE
We participated in the annual Relay For Life event. Staying up all night with your sisters and raising money for a wonderful cause is always a great time!

ELEUSINIA
Beta Lambda visited Depaul University in honor of Founders Day. We met up with other chapters and went on a "cupcake crawl" throughout the city. It was great meeting other Chi Omegas- especially over cupcakes!

INITIATION
Congratulations to our 14 outstanding new initiates! Our newest members bring a whole new light to Beta Lambda. An extra congrats to our model initiate- Kenzie Gustaffson '14.

EASTER EGG HUNT
We held the annual TKE & Chi Omega Easter Egg Hunt and it was by far a success. We hosted over 150 kids, more than we've ever had before! Egg hunting, chalk, games & bubbles were among the fun activities we had planned for the local kids. A thank you to community service chair Kathleen McCall for bringing it all together!

ZUMBA CLASS
Our panhellenic counsel planned a zumba class open to all sororities on campus. It was a ton of fun working out with our sisters and other greek friends!

ANNOUNCEMENTS
We are greatly missing our sisters Christine Frisch '12 and Lauren Schoepke '12 who are studying abroad in Spain. We can't wait for your return home!
