Beta Lambda is proud to announce that we received 1st place in this years Homecoming activities raising $1,500 for the chapter. We participated in all of this years activities including the Amazing Race, The Carthage Quizbowl, Torchie's Super Speedway, Deck the doors and the Homecoming Parade. A special thanks to our Campus Activities Chair Spencer Best for making Homecoming such a success.
A thank you to all the alumni who joined us for the Homecoming Potluck!
We wore our letters proudly on campus all week & participated in activities such as the Greek BBQ and Swimming Relay Race Competition.
From goofy owl statues to hand-me down sweaters, Chi-O days spoiled the new members with all things XΩ. The tradition lives on, each day representing a new theme. C day brought Chi-O crafts, clocks, candies, cookies and other C treats. H day brought old hand-me down apparel back to life. I day brought insignia and new Chi-Omega flavored gear. O day brought owls, and lots of them. Hoot Hoot!
At the end of the week, the new members were surprised with a big sister at revelation. As a result, family photos were taken and big-little relationships were made. Congratulations to all the new big sisters- Margot Parrish, Sahar Ali, Kelsey Frey, Kathleen McCall, Alyssa Skowronski, Lissette Andrade, Christine Frisch, Kenzie Gustafsson, Diane Hahn and Lauren Jensen!
We threw our annual halloween dance, a favorite function of many. Costumes varied from boy scouts to UFC fighters. Mario and Luigi were even there! A special thanks to our Social Chair, Kate Allen for hosting the function.
